Dear International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Admissions Candidate,

We at Stamford High School embody the belief that all students deserve the opportunity to challenge themselves academically and personally by participating in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). We believe that all stakeholders should fully support students in their endeavors as they work to reach their greatest potential throughout their participation in the programme. Students who seek candidacy in the IBDP must however exhibit motivation to succeed in such a rigorous programme. They must also mutually agree upon this decision with their parent(s)/guardian(s).

In order to ensure that IBDP students will benefit from this programme, the IBDP Committee at SHS has developed an Admissions Policy which includes an application & interview process that must be completed in order to be accepted for Diploma Candidacy. All current Stamford Public School Sophomores are eligible for admission to the IBDP.
