Academic Supports
Stamford High School's IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) offers a wide array of academic support for students. Students who are struggling in a course should first discuss their concerns with their classroom teacher in order to determine which academic support is best for them. Students are also welcome to reach out to the IBDP Coordinator and their guidance counselors for further advice.

Students whose GPA in a course falls below a 1.67, while be put on Academic Alert, as per the Programme's Academic Guidelines. This will require students to receive after school support. For more information, please view the Programme's Academic Guidelines found on the policies page.

The Programme promotes the first course of action being after school aide from a trained IBDP Teacher. Should additional support be needed, students can look to one of the following resources:

Knight Life (accepts all students)
Upward Bound
LEAD

For more information regarding these supports, please reference the information below, visit www.stamfordhigh.org or contact the IBDP Coordinator.
In the event that additional support is necessary, the student in question will work with the IBDP Coordinator to develop a plan for success.
